Memorial University Sustainability & Climate Change Action Plan

The Coalition will begin the first steps into constructing an action plan for Memorial University. An effective climate change and sustainability action plan will target all areas of an academic institution including education, research, infrastructure, transportation, dining, public engagement, etc.

Memorial University currently does not have sustainability or climate change strategic planning.  As a result, there is no decision-making guidance to handle the current ecological crises. The Climate Action Coalition is pushing for an action plan that will include bold targets.
